Youth and Family Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering. When you volunteer, you are actively participating in building community learning about civic responsibility exploring career options and discovering your own special skills and talents.

How to use the guide

For your convenience, opportunities are grouped by the minimum age and then by agency name within each section at the left. For example, if you are 18 years old, you can volunteer for any of the opportunities in the guide. If you are 14 years old, you can volunteer for any of the opportunities up to age 14.

Each listing includes the name of the organization, location, mission, contact person with telephone number, description of volunteer opportunities, and minimum age. If you are interested in any opportunities in this guide, please contact the agency directly.

The Youth Guide is updated on an ongoing basis, so please check back frequently and be sure to mention to the organization that you learned about their volunteer needs on the United Way website.
